This Startups Uncensored will be a one-on-one fireside chat with Michael Arrington, hosted by Docstoc CEO Jason Nazar.
Arrington is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of TechCrunch, the premiere news site covering startups and technology news. In September, Michael co-founded CrunchFund, an early stage venture capital firm. The fund invests in and works with information technology companies at any stage but is primarily focused on seed and early stage investments.

Arrington attended Stanford Law School (JD, 1995), and practiced as a corporate and securities lawyer at two law firms: O’Melveny & Myers and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. His clients included idealab, Netscape, Pixar, Apple and a number of startups, venture funds and investment banks. Arrington founded and ran two companies in Canada (Zip.ca and Pool.com), was COO to a Kleiner-backed company called Razorgator, and consulted to other companies, including Verisign. He also co-authored a book on initial public offerings.
In May 2008, Time Magazine named Michael Arrington as one of the world’s 100 most influential people.
Michael will be discussing is experience as an entrepreneur, including his time with TechCrunch, as well as his experience as an investor through CrunchFund. He'll also be sharing his thoughts and insights on the state of technology and how to build successful tech companies.
We will also be joined by Yossi Vardi, co-founder of ICQ, who will be bringing a delegation of 15 companies from Israel. Vardi is one of Israel's first high-tech entrepreneurs. For over 40 years he has founded and helped to build over 60 high-tech companies in a variety of fields, among them software, energy, Internet, mobile, electro-optics and water technology.

Doors open at 5:45pm.
A limited number of free tickets for this event are available. Entrance is on a first come, first served basis and is not guaranteed.
General Admission tickets are available for $20. Entrance is guaranteed until 6:15pm, after which, tickets will be given to free ticket holders on a first come, first served basis.
